The Affluence LIC Fund provides access to a diversified investment portfolio of ASX Listed Investment Companies (LICs) selected by Affluence. We aim to outperform the ASX200 Accumulation Index over rolling 3 year periods, with less volatility than the stock market. The Fund provides exposure to a broad range of underlying investment styles, investment strategies, and geographies.
Affluence LIC Fund Report Summary
The Affluence LIC Fund’s strong run continues, increasing by 1.6% in December. The overall market continues to perform strongly, with the ASX 200 Index up 1.8% for the month. Returns since inception for the Fund are 14.8% per annum, compared to the ASX 200 Index of 14% per annum.
Our best performers for the month were Acorn Capital Investments (ACQ), WAM Microcap Limited (WMI), Future General Limited (FGX), Future Generation Global Limited (FGG), and
Australian Foundation Investment Company (AFI).
At the end of the month, the Fund held investments in 29 Listed Investment Companies representing 86% of the Fund. The Fund also held 14% in cash, and some options which can benefit the Fund is rising and falling markets.
