The Affluence LIC Fund provides access to a diversified investment portfolio of ASX Listed Investment Companies (LICs) selected by Affluence. We aim to outperform the ASX200 Accumulation Index over rolling 3 year periods, with less volatility than the stock market. The Fund provides exposure to a broad range of underlying investment styles, investment strategies, and geographies.
Affluence LIC Fund Report Summary
The Affluence LIC Fund decreased by 0.5% in March, lagging the ASX200 which increased 0.7% for the month.
Returns since inception for the Fund are 9.4% per annum, compared to the ASX 200 Index of 10.5% per annum. These returns have been delivered with approximately half the volatility of the ASX200 index.
We believe the Fund remains well positioned to withstand most market conditions.
Some positive contributors this month were Thorney Opportunities (TOP) up 3.1% and Hearts & Minds (HM1) up 3.2% . The biggest negative contributors were the Tribeca Global Resources
(TGF) down 6.6% and NAOS Small Cap Opportunities (NSC) down 5.6%.
At the end of March, the Fund held investments in 31 Listed Investment Companies representing 92% of the Fund and 8% in cash.
